LFW BEAUTY - HOT BEAUTY TREND SEEN DURING LONDON FASHION WEEK

This years London fashion week has kicked off with psychedelic colour versus cult classics.

I guess the only makeup look to unify these differences is noir Black Smokey eyes.

This classic trend is seen most Saturday nights and is usually amped up with a dark eye shadow. The trick here is to use a natural eye shadow colour first all over the eye, apply your black gel liner using a thick liner brush on the top line of your eye and on the bottom.

To finish the look, slightly smudge the line so it has a smouldered finish.

love smokey eyes! but mine never come out as nice as i'd like! any tips?

Hi Anna,

Getting a smokey eye is tricky. Especially if you have small eyes.
if this is you - the best thing to do is (1) buy an eye shadow which is the same colour as your skin
(2) use a grey soft eye pencil and draw on your eye lids to colour the lid in.
(3) Use an eyeshadow brush to smudge it up
(4) use a darker coloured powder (deep brown or black) in the crease and bottom eye line
