September is the start of many things: the official run up to Crimbo, the month Jordan and Peter Andre got divorced and for kids, teenagers and mature students it’s the back to school month. Lord, where did the summer go? Do not despair, even for professional women, the idea of the back to school look is achievable, longwearing and highly economical.

Here’s the 411:

1) Liquid foundation and concealer
2) Do not apply blusher! Instead use a highlighter on the top of the cheek bone
3) Use a pencil liner thick on the lids and smudge so it gives it a subtle appearance
4) Tan brown lips - so it looks like your own lip colour but more defined.
5) Brown mascara to finish the look!

I don’t know about you, but it’s been a while since I donned a pencil eye liner - liquid and gel are more attractive but the pencil does give you the ‘I’m not trying to hard’ glare whilst a tan pout offers you that effortless lip attention.
